- Do you wish to add value to many small business out there needing a bookkeeper who supports their business thriving?
- Do you long for a place to learn and grow to set a solid foundation for a rewarding career?
- A stimulating and varied position is available for a self-motivated person keen to make a difference within a multi-disciplined and growing boutique accounting, audit, and tax practice.
In addition to your post-matric accounting qualification, computer literacy and your 5-10 year’s relevant experience, do you have:
- an eye for detail and accuracy
- clear and succinct communication skills
- a professional, friendly and positive demeanour and
- a willingness to take initiative, participate and learn?
The role spans:
- Full bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities for a variety of clients
- Preparation of bookkeeping up to trial balance, including monthly journals and meaningful management accounts
VAT, UIF, PAYE returns
Income Tax calculations & returns
Liaison with SARS – higher level queries and appointments
Preparation of audit working papers with guidance from senior
Preparation of certificates for review
We’re looking for someone who:

- Must have finance degree completed and registered with CIMA or busy studying with CIMA
- Has experience in the roles outlined above
- Advanced excel and accounting software knowledge

Is resourceful, a quick learner and asks questions
Takes ownership of their work
