Tax season is upon us
We have emailed out tax reminders to you, please check your inbox (and spam folders) for detailed information and the tick lists. Please do ensure that you have all your supporting documents available to submit to SARS if required, which will help the process be as easeful as possible. There are a lot more third-party verifications in place this year, so it is important to check prior to submission, so there are no surprises for you.
You may receive an automatic assessment during August, please do not accept these. Automatic assessments do not take into account deductions and may quite likely have errors in them, especially as they are testing the system now for the first time. SARS reputation with system changes leaves a lot to be desired, as we all experienced last tax season.
